Expertise

The Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory is part of the Herzberg Institute of Astrophysics, which is an institute within the National Research Council of Canada. It is the primary laboratory in Canada for the development and deployment of instrument and software for radio astronomy; technical expertise encompasses antenna design, digital signal processing, observing and control software, and imaging software. Canada has had a long interest in the SKA and has contributed to its international development.
