Expertise

The NRF coordinates the participation in this Design Study of a diverse group of South African research institutions through a Research and Technology Collaboration Centre (RTCC). The RTCC partner institutions have expertise in the following relevant technology areas: computational electromagnetics, phased array antenna design, digital signal processing, signal transport, high-performance computing, radio-frequency devices and radio frequency interference measurement and mitigation.

SKADS Role

Participants in DS3 (The Network and its output data) and DS4 (Technical foundations and enabling technologies) and DS5 (Aperture Array Demonstrator, EMBRACE).
