Expertise

The Kapteyn Institute is part of Groningen University and has a fundamental research programme concerned with the formation of structures in the universe, the formation and evolution of galaxies and the structure and dynamics of galaxies. There is ample expertise in radio astronomy at the Institute, in particular in the area of spectral line studies of galaxies using synthesis arrays.
